Canva free account cannot export as a svg file but many people suggest an svg exported from canva doesn’t do well when imported into design space. A png is a better method but if you want to export from canva to a png with a transparent background you will need a paid canva account. You have to add a polymer to cotton in order to sublimate on cotton. You can't sublimate directly to cotton. I have had success with ASubs sublimation vinyl. You cut the vinyl and place it on the shirt, then mirror your sublimation image and place it onto the vinyl just like you would normal sublimation. Others I have seen use regular glitter or white vinyl but I have not experimented with vinyl not designated for sublimation.
