Cricut creates a PNG of every project you save. I believe you have to save to cloud and computer option. You will find those PNG files on your hard drive in the cricut design space folder. On my machine the folder is called Canvas in the Local data folder. The folder will have a numeric name and not the name you used in DS. There you will find a "preview" png pf your project.
Hi Pamela, Cricut design space has never had the ability to save your project as a svg outside of itself. There is no “export“ function. You can save inside design space, duplicate and change etc, you can screen shot an image but you cannot use something designed inside design space and share it outside of design space if you have used your own elements or creative fabrica resources within the project. I use cf resources in design space all the time, they are brilliant but not for sharing the final project files. If you wish to share your knowledge a tutorial on “how” is the best route including links to cf assets for someone else to purchase or download. Hope this helps, happy crafting. 😊
Saving your finished Cricut project to your computer is a breeze, and I'll guide you through it!
Steps to Save a Cricut Project
Step 1: Open the Project
First, ensure your project is open in Cricut Design Space.
Step 2: Save Project
Click on 'Save' or 'Save As' in the top menu. This saves your project to your Cricut account.
Step 3: Export the Project
To save it to your computer, you'll need to export it. Cricut Design Space allows for saving projects as separate files (like PNG or SVG) depending on your project needs.
Step 4: Choose the File Type
Select the file type you want. For Cricut, SVG is a popular choice as it keeps your design elements editable.
Step 5: Download to Your Computer
Choose the location on your computer where you'd like to save the file, and click 'Download.'
With these steps, your Cricut project will be safely stored on your computer, ready to use whenever inspiration strikes! 🌟 Happy crafting!
